Scholastic Clubs Overview

Our scholastic clubs are intended to provide extra possibilities for pupils to prepare for exams that they otherwise would not be able to do on account of the reality of the number of lessons that can be formally fitted into a day. In the case of Upper Primary they are to build a personalised educational profile which would otherwise not be possible due to timetable constraints.

We have selected these activities based on exams being offered by our chosen exam board, AQA, and on the manner in which they complement the subjects we offer in school and also seek to address the needs of mobile families. Our intention is to open up further possibilities for our pupils through this programme which will prepare them for further study or wider qualification in the future.

These clubs require regular attendance and serious comittment.

The clubs we offer Secondary pupils as part of our vision are:

Creative Writing

General Studies

GCSE Project Club

Further Maths

Music Instrumental lessons (1to1, arranged according to need and a small extra cost is involved)

We can also offer the following scholastic clubs for Upper Primary pupils at a different time to Secondary:

Creative Writing

Further Maths

Music Instrumental lessons (1to1, arranged according to need and a small extra cost is involved)

For both Upper Primary and Secondary together:

Music Theory (preparing for the ABRSM theory exams).
